The Deaf&Mute Learning Center in Luang Prabang trains young girls who are hard of hearing or from disadvantaged backgrounds in sewing and weaving.

In partnership with the center , TrendEthics develops collections of cushions to train these apprentices to respond to orders, facilitate the transmission of know-how and give them confidence. What a joy for her to see these beautiful cushions in French interiors.

A production chain designed in an ecological and supportive way:

• natural dye of cotton yarn grown without chemicals by a local craftsman
• hand weaving on traditional looms by apprentices and their teacher
• sewing by apprentices or women in rehabilitation in France
• handmade cushion cover supplied with its interior made in Jura
