Educational support program in the minorities of the Central Highlands of Vietnam allowing young people to continue their education and have a positive impact on their environment.
DALAT - VIETNAM – Year 2025
In the Lâm Đồng region, less than 60% of minority girls complete secondary education. Many drop out early, pushed into early marriage or agricultural work. The project offers a concrete alternative by drawing on education, nature, and community.
Since its first edition in 2018, the camp has grown from 12 children at its beginning to 42 in 2020.
For the year 2025, we are betting on successfully raising the funds to welcome 50 children. Funding for the month of June is secured, but we are short €5,000 to finance the camp in July 2025.
Patrick Kosa, a recent graduate from the Chil ethnic group, grew up in a context of poverty, poor access to education, and environmental degradation. In 2017, he founded Light Up Your Dreams to provide children in his community with access to knowledge, nature, and their dreams.
"I've seen too many children give up on their dreams due to social pressure and lack of resources. My goal is to open up new perspectives for them."

Light Up Your Dreams Summer Camp began in 2017 with just 8 kids and has since become a staple annual program (with the exception of 2020 due to COVID).
It provides a safe and dynamic learning space for young people aged 7 to 21 , from six rural villages around Da Lat .
