    Description

Cotton and polyester pouch, hand-woven and sewn by artisans in Myanmar. Made from scraps of fabric from the "longyis", the traditional mixed skirt worn by the Burmese, each pouch is unique. The patterns vary according to the ethnic groups (Shan, Mon, Kachin, Chin, etc.), each having its own designs. The Kachin ethnic group, who live in the northeast of Burma, is known for its finely woven embroidery with geometric patterns such as zigzags and diamonds.

Our pouches are made from fabric scraps, making them eco-friendly.

By purchasing this pouch, you are helping to improve the living conditions and preserve jobs for women in the Kachin community in Myanmar.
